Comment:

for a very homesick alice. she's off for the year abroad and she misses everyone and everything australian, so i sent the obligatory Tom Rogers picture on a straw with the speech bubble saying "So Come On, Everybody- Fuck Me" and this tape which comprises of songs I can remember Alice and I singing at any point, generally whilst crusing the melbourne op shops for those elusive LBD's and old style adidas t-shirts. ahh...thems was the days! thanks to rob for the jim o'rourke track, and thanks to my eldest sister jane for the bananarama track...hmm, of course if i was looking for CRAP 80's music i'd call her first!

Great stuff, Rosie. I love the Whitlams pick, esp. And Tim Rogers, yeah, I'd give it (him) a go! Although I've heard he's settled down, due to his marriage and child.

The Kinks.... you can NEVER go wrong with the Kinks. Good to see them with so many other greats.
