Comment:

I was going to give this to someone on his birthday, but I realised he'd probably be offended by the title, and my attempts to inflict upon him some appreciation for music are futile. So I played it for him on a daytrip, and he was indifferent. And he was offended by the title. (which is a reference to another Tullycraft song, and not just me calling someone a dolt, for those not in the know)
Note: Everyone should go to http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/92/pat_dull__his_media_whores.html and download 'You!'. Really, you'll thank me.

Hey, fuck him if he can't take a joke. Or even if it's not a joke. This is a good mix. But you know that already.

Great mix! And yes, there are a couple bands on here that I'm too stupid to know about. I am smart enough however to know how great Dressy Bessy, Strawberry Story, The New Pornographers and Heavenly are.

Honestly... I'm too stupid to know about some of these bands, too. But I know of and like Jim's Big Ego, so this mix is automatically cool. :)

Great picks by Heavenly (love the Calvin vocals), of Montreal, & B/S. Bitchin!

"Really! It's a reference to another song by the 'fuck me I'm twee' band! I swear!"

You should dump him and date me, haha.

Seriously, I have an ex who was just like that. I was indie elitist boy, blah blah yadda yadda, but who'd be singing along with FoW's "Denise?" Yeah, that's right.

Excellent mix. Glad to see the Orange Peels getting the props.
