Not really a 'Single Artist' mix, so I opted for 'Theme'. Some covers and live rarities of Steely Dan. Provides a change from sticking on "Countdown to Ecstasy" etc. for the 1000th time. My all-time faves along with The Fall, work that one out. Back to the punk rock shit soon.Feedback:
Steely Dan and The Fall? Interesting. Just out of curiosity, why no "Dr. Wu" by the Minutemen on here? Seems like a characteristic choice judging by yer other mixes.
and no 'do it again' by Deodato - i think that might by up your street to (it's on Deodato 2, currently in the 5 for 30quid offer at virgin megastore - copies available at the TCR branch. stop me if i'm being too london-centric).
I didnt include the Minutemen cos I've known it for ages and all the above are new-ish versions to me. Thanks for the Deodato tip, I'll keep an eye out for it.
