some of my favorite Anitpop Consortium tracks, taken from several eps and lps that have come out in the last 4 years. Antipop take hip hop to a different place, with sparse, minimal beats and production, positive and bizarre lyrics, and mad flow. Their lates releases have been put out on WARP records, home of acts like Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, Plaid and Aphex Twin, so you know this is not gangsta/booty rap. They have also shown up on other great labels such as Ark and Wordsound. If you feel like changing your pespective, take a new look at hip hop.

he speaks the truth. APC are genius. maybe not the flowingest rappers but some of the best beats, intelligent words and a desire to push things forward.
