the Adventures of Pete and Pete theme is by a band called Polaris and is called "Hey Sandy"; some very good choices
No, it is by They Might Be Giants. In the opening sequence of the show, John and John are playing on their front lawn and it says "Theme song by They Might Be Giants." Trust me.
Dammit! I don't remember an episode with the Johns singing. A quick search didn't help, either--just confirmed the Polaris thing.

That Pete and Pete theme is fantastic, but I can only find the TV 1 minute version, dammit. I always thought it was Miracle Legion who did that song though.
Ok, ok, you're right. The theme song is by Polaris and apparently so is all the other music from the show. I downloaded it off Audiogalaxy.
