Comment:

Volume 2 of the surf series. Once again, a mix of classics and new surf prodigies. Featured prominently in this volume are two of the true geniuses of surf and instrumental music - Link Wray and the Shadows. Though I have not included it on this comp, Link's "Rumble" may be the greatest rock instrumental ever written. Let us bow our heads in a moment of quiet reflection for Link Wray. Rock it!

Well done, Sean. The surf to live and live to surf mix you sent me was tremendous. I would like a copy of this. Did you get my mixes okay?

The Straitjackets cover is brilliant. I swear - it makes me really like the song. There was a great melody buried beneath all that Celine-ization. I mean, it sounds like a surf standard.
