This mix is a little strange, only time will tell if it will work out. The basic idea was something for cool, relaxing summer nights. The general vibe is romantic, but slightly whistful to boot. The problem is with the first and last tracks - I've been trying to work them onto mixes for ages, as several friends need to hear them. I don't know that they fit here, both are a little too loud & angry for the rest of the songs, but my gut tells me they'll be OK. I definitely wanted to avoid yet another all-acoustic angst fest, or even worse, another sappy romance set. Mission accomplished there, anyway. (Title is from the Tanya Donelly song, though I hate to waste such a good title on a mix not meant for a potential mate!)
