Comment:

I: As we left Kermit, Fonze and Scarlet they had just traveled over the Kanyon where they ran into a strange, but seemingly friendly man named Mick. After much discussion Mick revealved that he is Lucifer himself in the form of a rock star. The same entity that Kermit had ran into in the beginning of his journey. He advances on them in an effort to steal their souls into the underworld, but the three distract him with other offers and get away, running back down the canyon. II: They stumble upon a people called the Fraggles, who greet them with much love and peace. At their nightly ritual they all engage in "Banapple Gas," a gas that may not be healthy, but gives the user a feeling of utter bliss. Kermit explains to the Fraggles how they came to be there, how they have been drifting for what seems like years. The Fraggles are happy to hear of the adventures and offer the trio a place to sleep for the night. III: They are awoken the next morning by a great bang and chaotic behavior on the part of the Fraggles. Lucifer has followed them to the home of the Fraggles and has set fire to the adjacent mountain. He has also captured Scarlet and brought her with him to the underworld. Kermit and Fonzie are quite distressed over the matter and decide they must move on. At sunset Kermit sings Scarlet a song and declares that "someday we'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun." Right at that moment he sees a blackbird fly above his head. He then realizes that all will be ok.
IV: We are now taken down to Hades, where we see Scarlet bounded to a jail-like cell. Downtrodden, she wonders if there is life anywhere better than this, even Mars. She is beginning to lose hope. Meanwhile, Kermit and Fonzie have decided they must take a highway to hell and save Scarlet. He is determined to find his way back to her. At the entrance to the underworld Fonzie and Kermit are tempeted by three Sirens, but their determination is too much for the women's beauty. They finally reach the crossroads. Meanwhile, Scarlet has completely given up hope and sings a sweet song of how she will fly away from these prison walls when her life is over. With the help of Johnny, their nick of time friend, the devil is defeated in another contest on the fiddle and allows Scarlet to be freed. The Fraggles hear the news and there is much celebration throughout the land. Kermit sings a song of praise to Johnny, declaring that someday he'll be the leader of a big old band. Scarlet, Kermit and Fonzie say their goodbyes and are on their way again, screaming that "Life is a Highway" and they want to ride it "all night long." To be continued...
