Comment:

This compilation was originally made for a friend (who introduced me to Costello--not personally, but just as profoundly) who left "....this town" (we were living in Baltimore, Maryland at the time) in 1996. It is the souvenir of his leaving that has aged the most gracefully.

ahhh. good to see costello is inspiring many a person to compile his songs. great cross-section of his work--even a brodsky quartet pick! reminds me of...CHARM CITY! circa 1996. weird though, i thought i'd see 13 steps lead down on here...
