The '90s were supposed to be like the '60s – only upside down. And it seemed to work out that way. Angst and irony ruled in a time of relative peace as compared to peace and love ruling in a time of war. But the '90s also brought a wave of bubblegum pop we hadn't seen since the Archies sang about "Sugar Sugar." The artists below have taken all aspects of '90s pop songs (think Britney, Hanson, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the theme from [I]Titanic[/I]) and breathed some new life into them.
