Comment:

i made this mix this weekend in honor of my favorite super-hero. every song on here has something to do with spiderman. for those of you not familar with the wall crawler i'll explain. songs 3-6 are his origin. biten by a spider. the narration talks about uncle ben being killed by a thief and then peter felt guilty because he didn't stop the killer when he had the chance. i know in the comic it's a burglar but on the narration from stan lee himself called him a thief i figured it'd be ok. songs 7-10 are about his powers. he was a genius (so rocket science, may be a bit of a stretch). he invented the webbing he used which no company could come up with, hence spider webs. he can crawl on walls and ceilings so there is crawling. song 12 is because he lives in new york and also it talks about john gotti who was the kingpin of new york for so long. one of the bad guys is called kingpin so maybe this should have been later on the cd. song 13 is because he gets a bad rap in the press. song 14 is the segue into the bit about his enemies. songs 15-18 are his enemies, green goblin, dr octopus, sandman and carnage are several of his foes. songs 19-20 are about his personal life. his exwife was named mary jane and was in fact a supermodel. this actually only took up about 61 minutes of the cd so if i come up with anymore references i'll add them on and update this. it was 1130 on sunday night and i was getting tired so i just ended it where i did. the final narration wraps things up very nicely.

This is awesome - I feel like I'm 8 years old again. Have to admit, though - I wish the movie weren't being made. Seems to kill some of the fun and imagination. Plus, the animation looks a bit corny. Ah well. Great job, nonetheless.
