Comment:
A graduation present for a friend who will be departing for college before too long. Surely these songs will make her the coolest kid there. Or not. How am I to know what those wacky kids enjoy? Regardless, as I have made her mixes in the past, I didn't want this to seem meaningless, so I wrote her a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book as well (which took me like five months-it's tougher than you'd think) and hopefully that will mean a lot more to her than another wanker confederation of loosely connected songs. Loud then soft then loud and soft and soft again...Tom Waits sandwiched betwen the Lucksmiths and Mates of State is hilariously wrong, and yet it still works for me. She's not one to complain though, so love it or hate it, I'm sure the only bad thing I'll be be hearing is nerve wracking silence. Both sides end with instrumentals and long pauses...Pauses long enough to accomadate for two more short songs but mayhaps the pauses will be dramatic. Maybe not, maybe they will annoy her, but like I said, I'll never know unless I ask and of course I won't be doing that. On a lighter note it's raining today and that brings me great joy. UPDATE: Didn't finish book.Feedback:
This is really nice - she will be the coolest kid there.
just looking at the titles, it very well could be a choose your own college-style adventure...nicely done!
this is such a great mix, i already have about 3/4 of these songs, so ill dl the rest and try them.
extended pauses are sadly underappreciated these days, if you ask me. stellar work as always, posing.
a superb job, professor. a fine, fine mix.
