Comment:
this is for my friend mike pike, who received a jam compilation from Rob Conroy the other day, and The Jam use to be my favourite band so i think it wasn't enough with one CD (actually you need at least the 5CD box) so this vol 2 to that collection, i hope it fitsFeedback:
A lot of these songs would be on my volume two... so nice job. :-)
Looks great, Peter.
Great mix! LOTS of my favorites here!
Jag ser fram emot att fs frossa i denna! Hallelujah!
You're right, of course - everyone NEEDS the Jam box set. Good collection, maybe a bit on the melancholy side, eh?
Yes, I remember this and meant to give you props on my mix... however, you beat me to it. ;-) More specific comments from me: I'm not a fan of Foxton's songs, so "Smithers-Jones" isn't a favorite; "Non-Stop Dancing" doesn't do much for me, ditto "5 o'Clock Hero"; and I can't say I'm big on their version of "David Watts" (which isn't one of my favorite Kinks songs from that period). Otherwise, though, I'm sure that you see that we've got lots of overlap on our "second" volumes.
