Irish blues wizard Rory Gallagher went solo in 1971, after a fistful of albums with Taste (which disbanded after the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival), and rapidly established himself as an artist whose output was greatly admired [i]and[/i] prolific, mixing studio work with stunning live recordings that did his stage presence justice. By his own admission, he always craved the electricity generated by an audience. Now, set about the blues feast of Gallagher's Next Steps.
