Comment:
This is the first half of a mix I made as a graduation present for some of the departing seniors this year. As in years past, there is a strict "nothing too dance-ish" rule for this disc. With the rockish and predominantly male-vocalized tracks, I wanted to somehow reflect the makeup of this particular group of (mostly male) students, who are very "laddish" at times in their interests (paintball, tipping over port-a-johns, gross eating contests, etc.)--I sometimes call them the "No Girls Allowed Club." However, one or two females have infiltrated the group at one time or another, so I threw in a few female vocalists who can hang with the guys. All in all, it's a mix I really like and hope can serve the students well as either a reminder of my class or just a good summer driving mix.Feedback:
