Made for two of my friends who have *never* heard of Belle and Sebastian, Badly Drawn Boy, and The Gentle Waves. I know, how could they have not, but hopefully I'll get them hooked by giving them this. It's only an intro, because that's only my collection for the moment.
Feedback:
I love "Waking up to us". For that matter, I love virtually everything by Belle & Sebastian. With taste like this, it sounds like you need to hear some Kinks, Hollies or Teenage Fanclub.
Good advice Sean. Also check out Nick Drake and Margo Guryan, if you haven't already done so. Nice selections, BTW. I only heard B&S for the first time late last year, and am just now waking up to them.

hey, how did your friend like the mix? my boyfriend brought me back the 'waking up to us' 12" when he was in france. i'd specifically asked for francoise hardy cds but can i complain that i've got a boy who buys me belle and sebastian?! :) if you ever want to do a trade with me i'd love to!
