Just a little something I made up because I think that the average high school and college population listens to very bad popular music...this get's the point across but is not too indy.Feedback:
hehehe, very good. my personal favourite trick is to sneak into the common room and switch britany for rachmaninov's second piano concerto! always a good reaction, but most of this would probably have the same open mouthed/large eyed response.
kids today got it bad. there's literally no good music out there on the radio or tv. and unless you're a pretty savvy 10th grader, you're not going to seek out elliot smith on your own. but this mix is exactly what the youth of today need. interesting stuff but still accessible.
meh
i would've said the last thing the kids need is more jimmy eat world and david gray
but i suppose it's all relative, especially with something like this where a great deal of snobbery and reverse snobbery can come into it

Advertising your music as "good" is a method of popularizing it... you are merely a trendsetter..
