Comment:

This girl I have in one of my classes (not a good friend but no sworn enemy) was talking about how she received a mix with "Fairy Tale of New York" on it and she was raving about it, so as I am so gallant I offer to make her a Pogues mix. I tried to keep it upbeat because she's not one for too many boozy Irish ballads...Obviously the majority is culled from the first three albums, with Hell's Ditch and Peace and Love garnering a whopping one song each. Wow, good way to slide Shane. Anyway, the Pogues are good. That's all I can say. Cheers.

Totally wonderful. One of the best (and scariest, in terms of the audience) shows I've ever seen was Shane in NYC. But why nothing from "Poguetry in Motion", that amazing ep?

Awesome band and a cool mix. I have to say that I second Sean's question, though...

my copy is too scratched apparently. which is a huge shame since "body of an american" is one of my favorite songs. the original plan was to just sneak the entire ep onto the disc but fate was against me.
