Comment:
Listener Status 35, in the place to be. This one is totalllly for steppers, reggae for the moving and the grooving, sunny days, late nights, blockparties, soundsystems, personal and shared. Inspired by a recent trip to Barbados (reggae bus massif) and by alot of great people and music. This one has some dancehall on it, which may not be everyones thing, but it is the bass that moves me. Plus, the dj skills on the mic. Heavy indeed. Much love and respect goes out on this one to: Dub Soundystem Chicago (I-Trick, Chris P, Lord Dubious, Ms. Jack), Phonograph Scientists Chicago, Squeezebox, reggaebusesbarbados, the Programmer, the Graduate, AOTM reggae massive (Teapin(never sleepin'), CJ, PdaSwede, Breeze), Breezeon, and my super inspiration and love, Christine. Soundsystems get ready, this place 'bout to rumble...
Feedback:
love it man, don't know that Tappa song ;D
funny. you know how it is, when my boy slips me the cdr with no tracklistin. lets call it "mysterious dub" .
so, uh...steppin' is, like, Dancin'? did i get that right?
more groovy stuff that I haven't heard, come across, or know ay-thin' about ['cept Marley ].
thats right, mr.renegade master, steppin' is like dancin', but with more attitude and pleasure.
You're a steppin' razor, Junior D.
ah....attitudinal steppin; very cool !
trip to barbados, eh? lucky bastard. "conquering lion" and "skylarking" always make me jump and shout, and putting kings tubby and jammy together has got to be so nice. you KNOW i need a copy of this one, selector d.
i really like the self portrait beard-sporting Mantis for the revised cover !!
tappa track is "MPLA Dub". respect and love,
