Comment:

this tape has been fermenting for about a couple of months now and got round to making it this afternoon. after one night listening to boards of canada and my dad's old bert jansch records i wanted to make a tape that mixed folk and electronic music, and this is the attempt at doing that, although annoyingly i don't actually have enough suitable records to do it properly. though i guess this is okay enough. also it mutated a little as i made it for a specific person, who'll, er, well lord knows what she'll make of this. does anyone think it's just far too downbeat? cheers.

Some great stuff! That Strokes/Aguilara song (a.k.a. Freelance Hellraiser's "A Stroke of Genie-us") is brilliant. Also love the Byrds, SFA, Gentle Waves and Yo La Tengo.
