Inspired by an earlier mix on this site and by our friends' 8th grader, who has recently discovered the Beatles by way of the "1" CD: "Have you heard Eleanor Rigby? 'Wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door.' What's that mean?!!?" I tried to give him a perspective of their career, but concentrated on the songs I remember being particularly taken with when I was that age. Hey, wait a minute. I still love these songs.
