Comment:
Two disc set exploring the mid-80s post-punk/industrial/electro/dub/funk scene. While compiling this, I was sorry to learn of the recent passing of Fad Gadget main man, Frank Tovey. The obit mentioned his frequent injuries during shows. I once saw him throw himself into a performance which was attended by maybe two dozen people. A true showman.Feedback:
Cool stuff. It's strange, in that Uncut mag. did a piece about Fad Gadget a couple of months back, titled "I thought you were dead".
Holy shit. Toss this in the next pile... (as well as its sequel, please).
yeah good man, i didn't find the first rip rig, but a double 12" and Bob Hope 12" intrested?
Like this one too! I have a few of these records as well. Didn't hear that Frank Tovey died. Perhaps I'll have to break out my 10 minute remix of Collapsing New People.
cool shit, lo-fi. my wishlist overfloweth.
