A co-worker wanted jazz that his pregnant wife can vivbe out to, and fall asleep on the couch with. I looked through my jazz collection and spent the better part fo two days looking for smooth, and calm joints. There are some standards here, for sure, but I think it's balanced.

Union is a trio composed of three guys who kick ass, most notably Laurence Hobgood, whom some of y'all may know if you know of Kurt Elling. Randy Brecker (actually, BOTH of the Breckers) is underrated; the Miles Davis cut is off a French film soundtrack which still holds the record for highest priced single CD I've ever bought ($25).
