Made for f Friend who liked old-timey music. If anyone hasn't picked up at least one of the volumes of the Alan Lomax Southern Journey series on Rounder, I would highly recommend them....beautiful stuff.

nice mix...i was wondering how you came across rhonda vincent?...she is lives in a little town i lived in for six years...i have used to hang out at their business all the time and listen to her and others have bluegrass jams!

Nice job. When I see a country mix, I'm often terrified that it will be some new "country" hack artist, rather than someone who truly understands the history of the music. Well done. Let me know if you'd like to trade.

Tara - actually, Rhonda must have recorded something on Rounder, because I got that song off of the O Sister comp, but she's featured on other Rouder comps as well. Thanks for the feedback.
