Comment:
I recently read "King Suckerman" by George Pelecanos. It's an excellent crime novel set in Washington DC in 1976, and music plays a major role in the novel. I put this mix together from songs and albums mentioned in the book.Feedback:
Great mix and a great novel, too. Luv it!
i heard that he's really good, which book should i start with? love the music BTW
this is a really nice mix.
Peter: "King Suckerman" was the first of his books that I've read (but I picked up the sequel "The Sweet Forever" and started reading that right away). KS seems like a good place to start to me.
Nice mix. It makes me want to check out the book.
Fine stuff.
Nice idea, nice mix. Like Rob, I want to check out the book now.
This looks really inspired! Makes me want to read the book too.
Yeah, what everyone else said. And now it will be in the library!
