I respectfully re-submit the following mixtape. I originally posted an earlier incarnation of this mix a few months ago. But this is the remix. This tape goes to the next issue of my zine Namaste. It's the "NYC" issue all about my summer in the city. I went there a year ago to intern at Ms. Magazine. The interlude between Princess Superstar and Vivien Goldman is from an early 80s hip-hop show in which the host ask guests about what they're wearing. Word. I had to add Sara Jones because I got to interview her about the FCC controversy. Everyone else on here I either saw live or just thought their song made the perfect soundtrack to my adventures.
