Comment:

the scene for this one is the serene study break at 1 in the morning when i tend to get pissy with my homework, pissy because i can't sleep, pissy because my biro runs out or there's no paper left. so i tend to loaf outside onto the verandah wrapped up in a blanket, have a cigarette or a glass of tonic water. i like to sit out there in the air and listen to the sound of the waves crashing down at the cutting, and watch the lights on the horizon from the squid boats and watch the stars and the moon and pretend i'm on some lovely island, about to wake up to a breakfast of mangoes and pineapple juice away from the wind and the footy heads. it's good out there at 1 in the morning, not a sign of human existance except for the squid boats. you feel like if you jumped off the edge you might end up in marnia or someplace even better. maybe. i think quite possibly the verb conjugations were really getting to me. i can't wait for winter to be over. i can't wait for year 12 to be over.

(thanks to rob conroy for the opening track)

Lovely, Ms. Rosie. And you're welcome, as always. This looks particularly good.

Beautiful. This is even better than the "Pink Moon" Volkswagen commercial.

Nice stuff, Rosie. I can't wait for winter to be over too, although, it hasn't actually officially started yet, has it? (doesn't it start June 1?)
