Comment:

OK, so it's not *quite* A-Z, but near enough. This mix was inspired somewhat by the estimable teapin's "Dusseldorf Cold Water Flat", which I urge everyone to investigate. Basically does what it says on the tin, an alphabetical wander through some of the music that arose in the wake of punk from roughly 1978-83... some punkish items, some nascent goth and industrial, some synthpop, and so forth. My slightly belated first anniversary mix (can't believe I've been visiting this site for a year now).
