Figured I now had just enough of this sort of thing to put a half-decent comp together. Not sure if the later garage stuff fits in with the R'n'R and R'n'B, we'll see... Mostly culled from a bootleg tape of my wife's (no tracklist, had to do a bit of web research...), a Roulette Records comp left at my flat by a pal (lots of cheesier, novelty stuff), a bootleg LP called 'Hot Skillet Muck Muck: Blowin' Through Yokohama' and bits off the radio (I recommend Mark Lamarr's show on BBC Radio 2).

Fave at the mo: Bobby Mitchell (track 8). Been on constant repeat in my brain for 3 days now. Stoopidly simple, bouncy, reminds me of the Fall somehow.
