Comment:

primarily for slade, who's gone a bit "off" recently. the last tape i made him he threw out the window, hopefully this one may be a little better received, and not land on a poor defenseless TAFE student. also in memory of the now departed dr who pinball machine that used to inhabit the local laundramat...which in itself is connected to slade. so, to him and the pibball machine where ever it may be, cheers and best wishes. title from antoine de saint-exupery's book "the little prince"- if you haven't read it, do so right now. you'll cry- guaranteed. that book makes grown men weep! title translates to "it is such a secret place, the valley of tears" or words of that effect. after i included "pilots" i knew that HAD to be the title. oh and yeah- guess who can be heard screaming and applauding after the warrnie college jazz band track...none other than my big sister- yea!! the things you notice with headphones on! and the two indigo girls tracks are there not only because i'm quite partial to the indigo girls, and because those two songs are really nice, but because slade's first car, the gemini, commonly known as "blanche"...it was white... had a lovely collage of the indigo girls on the glove box, one of his crazy stoner girlfriends did that early one morning- he wasn't happy.

How dare someone throw a tape out the window! I hope you gave him grief for that Rosie. Sweet mix.

Yes that was rude. I don't think I'd give someone a second chance at receiving a tape if that happened to me. Anyway, this looks great and undisposable.

Great mix--I love that Lucksmiths song (one of the only recent tunes of theirs that I'm into).
