Comment:

I started the school year off well, going to my first real party, and a great football game. Then I got a crush around November, and over the year it developed into love, which I never felt back. I feel joyous when I see him, and awful when I'm without. In March I went on a ski trip and took a school trip to Washington D.C. I'll be taking a trip to Marine World with the rest of my 8th grade class and then I'll be graduating and moving on to high school. I tried to find songs to convey how the year is winding down, and that I'm preparing myself for next week, when I will see the boy I love for the last time. I I know most of you will be turned off by the amount of popular songs on here, but please be open-minded and just think about the lyrics and the feel of the music to understand. This mix means a lot to me, and I hope you guys like it.

Well, you did mess up the White Stripes song. It's "Fell In Love With A Girl". But for you, I could see how you'd think of it the other way. I will say that you did a very good job with this. Especially love the Rufus Wainwright towards the end.

VERY good musical taste for a girl of your age. I didn't even buy my first CD till I was in 8th grade. :)
Get Ryan Adam's CD "Heartbreaker" It's much better than "Gold"

I'm not much of an Ataris fan, but that song really does a good job of capturing the feel of being a high schooler. Some absolutely excellent stuff scattered throughout here, too. My first album I owned was Nirvana's "Bleach" on cassette when I was about 10. Since about there my taste in music(and subsequently my interest) completely vanished for a few years until I got into Jawbreaker when I was in high school, and I had a real problem then with not allowing myself to like popular music just for the fact that it was popular. I'm glad you're able to avoid that pratful, and congratulations on making a rather good(especially because it's rather personal) mix! Oh, and congrats, as well, on finishing up high school!

Thanks! But actually, I'm just graduation from middle school! Thanks for the comments about this, though!

Actually, I'm mad because the bottom of the playlist didn't get put on here, and the end of this mix was my favorite part.
