Refreshers is the name of a tape I made in England a few years ago. Now i'm in Australia, and the tape is somewhere in my attic waiting for my return -so this is essentially a substitute, but having completely different tracks from the one in England, i suppose it could easily be a whole new mix. But I was trying to get the same feel. There is so much fantastic chill-out material out at the moment, melting soul with hip hop and trip hop with jazz. And there is also somewhere else, a place that only Drum & Bass like the tracks above can take me, like a soothing from stripped down ryhtym tracks and deep basslines, and fantastically distant atmospheres. It just hits me somewhere georgous.

Each of the tracks on the tape are fantastic in their own way, but i'm going to have to point out The Elemental by Omni Trio as the one tht does it. Simple, melodic basslines and drums that keep rolling, rolling -grooving and sharp.
