In 1968, visionary Nuyorican keyboardist Eddie Palmieri bowed to the trend of the time by recording [i]Champagne[/i] — arguably, the best boogaloo album of all time. Listen to the entrancing combination of Palmieri's keyboards and Cheo Feliciano's raucous vocals on "Ay Que Rico." Ray Barretto's "El Watusi" was one of the genre's early and biggest hits.
