Comment:

Ok, before I get into this, I wanna set a few things straigt. First off, I said 1979 was a creepy year for music. Not a "crappy" year for music. In fact, it's one of my faves. Second, "Hey Hey My My" by Neil young **did** come out in 1979 and not 1978, so my boo-boo. But I was right about Harry Nilsson's "Coconut" coming out in 71. Whew...okay, about this mix....damn, there was a lot of good stuff in 1980. Liverpool, Factory Records, goth...the list goes on.

I stand corrected. I've always considered "Nilsson Schmilsson" a '72 album because the two singles weren't hits until then... perhaps I'll fact-check next time before offering my help (you're doing a very year-specific project, so it lends itself to such suggestions). This is definitely an interesting year for music, though, and a cool mix.
