at some point, B said "Half these mixes have the same bands on them." Well, he's right. Certain cds get certain groups clustered on them because they tend to be associated in my mind. But the Nields, Dar Williams, Jump, Fruvous, and BNL are all kind of interwoven in that great musical cosmos anyway.

This was for hermi, but I gave copies to Norah and Amy too. They all have jobs, but this began as a tape for the unemployed. I think the thematic element gets a little scrambled though: despair to celebration to reconciliation, or something like that. It's a stretch. May 2002.

Very nice mix - I love all of the songs on here that I know. I've heard a lot about JLC, I'm going to have to check them out.
