The former Guess Who frontman (who still tours occasionally with his old core bandmates) branched out solo in 1975 and set about cementing his status — set in stone today — as a Canadian rock icon. This selection of his finest tracks includes the monster hit from his 1976 self-titled debut, "Stand Tall," a fistful of stunners from the triple-platinum [i]Dream of a Child[/i] (1978) — the biggest-selling album in Canadian chart history at that time — and a couple of jukebox staples from '77's [i]My Own Way to Rock[/i], including the title track and the funky rock-out "Never Had a Lady Before." And, of course, there's his splendid big band version of "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet."
