Comment:
I finally got ambitious enough to make a mix for my parents. I hope they don't hate it, even if E. Smith does drop the f-bomb on "Rose Parade." Songs not included: U2's "Mofo," John Lennon's "Mother" (or "My Mummy's Dead"), The Smashing Pumpkins' "To Forgive," Nirvana's "Scentless Apprentice," R.E.M.'s "Sweetness Follows," The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff's "Parents Just Don't Understand," or, of course, The Doors' "The End." Title loosely from the Ella/Louis standard.Feedback:
Very nice mix lots of favorites here.
My folks would dig it, that's for sure...but, i almost guarantee, weezer won't go over well. Never does, for some reason.
good oasis song
wow. your parents are fookin' hip, mate. mine'd just want olivia newton john on theirs.
Reminds me of a mix I made my mom: "Oh no! I Think I Dropped The Steroids!" I did throw some Nirvana on there (acoustic). She thought B&S sounded like The Kingston Trio!
Did I mention this was sweet?
Beautiful. This makes me miss MY parents. What did/do they think of it?
