"I followed the sound of a jukebox coming from up the levee ...." The first in the "Mysterious South" series, which is threatening to grow inot a multi-CD project. This one is for a friend who lived in Biloxi and environs all her life and then recently moved to upstate NY. Consequently, a lot of the songs are about Mississippi and New Orleans.As for the title, Dolly sings "time sweet as honey," but the Steve Young website (he wrote the song) has "time sweetened honey", which, to me at least, is much more poetic and ... mysterious.
