The Undertones were on the verge of packing it all in when Belfast's Good Vibrations label released "Teenage Kicks" (1978), one of the all-time great feel-good punk standards. The track captures the band's appeal in a nutshell — it's electrifying, simple, and it makes you want to pogo. Acquaint yourself here with other concise stunners like "My Perfect Cousin" as well as the more elaborate tracks ("It's Going to Happen") that marked the band's progression into the '80s.
