Comment:
Spawned by a post in the Discussion Forum, a mix of some of my all-time favorite movie soundtrack moments. The rules were vague, but there's only one song written for the movie it appeared in (Mrs. Robinson), and whenever I hear any of these songs I'm immediately reminded of the movie in question. In some cases it's because I had never heard the song until I'd seen the movie, or because I've listened to the soundtrack repeatedly, but generally it's because most of these songs were used in an extremely powerful and memorable way. Comments & suggestions for a Vol. 2 are welcome.Feedback:
A fascinating idea (and the mix looks good too!).
Wow man you beat me to the punch. I've thought about doing this as well.
jesus, this mix kicks the llama's mouth. i'd love to have thought of and executed this in such cunning accuracy.
i love the geto boys
great choices from great movies
Well, you beat me to the punch. This is a fantastic mix from some awesome movies. Love the part of the Big Lebowski where the Gypsy Kings are used. "Nobody fucks with the Jesus!"
A question for anybody who may stumble upon this post: What is your favourite movie soundtrack? I pick 'THE BLUES BROTHERS'.

Just fantastic! I love the idea, and some wonderful choices...to answer Kit's question about favorite soundtracks, I think mine is probably "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Un-Cut". There are some real gems on that soundtrack.
