Bert Jansch is the fleet-fingered folk legend held in huge regard by the current crop of rock guitar stars — whose technical brilliance, note-bending skills, and utter disregard for conventional time signatures must be heard to be believed. This collection opens with his version of the Davey Graham composition "Angi" (aka "Angie") from his self-titled 1965 debut album (recorded in his flat with a borrowed guitar), and his 2006 hook-up with Beth Orton, "Watch the Stars".
