Comment:

This mix is something I put together after I saw the Pie Traynor MOTW recently. This mix is a HIP HOP mix and not a watered down MTV pop mix. Satchel Paige-Much Respect.

Nice mix. Lot's of great old school on here. But hey if I can get my friends to groove on Nice & Smooth, Rise, Aesop Rock and MF Doom by giving them Jay-Z, Nas, Fat Joe, etc. then I'll do it. So don't be knockin' the "Pie." (I couldn't resist that, sorry.) But lookin at this mix you're probably the type who'd really appreciate my "Hip Hop Was..." Mix.

Nice mix that reminds me of the great hip hop that came out in the early to mid 90's.

You put on Cypress Hill and Ice Cube, some of the biggest commercial ACTORS out there and you're calling people out for not reppin' "REAL" hip-hop. And using Bust Rhymes and Jay-Z on your other mixes....don't front kid! Gotta give respect for the LONS pick though

Eric, I don't care what you say Ice Cube's Death Certificate is Hip Hop. I consider it to be one of the greatest albums ever as do many others. Sure Ice Cube and Cypress Hill fell off but I consider the tracks off those albums to be just fine. And if you understood the name of that othermix with Busta and Jay Z you would know why they are on there. Do I have a problem with Bubba Sparxx, Foxy Brown and Ja Rule? Sure.

No offense to Pie or you Shayn. I have put tracks on cds I normally wouldnt put on a cd for myself. You had some killer picks on there its just Foxy Brown and Pie seemed like a little bit of a clash for me. Maybe we can trade sometime.
