Comment:

I was just recently diagnosed with clinical depression...so all this crap I've been dealing with is actually a disease, like that actually helps. This is the soundtrack to my struggle with depression.

as someone who can sympathise, i won't try to sympathise. i will say that i love that whiskeytown song. i've spent many a sunday morning lying in bed, just listening to it on repeat. it's just that kind of song. i don't know most of the other stuff on your mix, but if the gist of it is the same, i understand the feeling.

A good shrink and anti-depressants can only go so far. Dr. Sean recommends rock and/or roll. I'll bet you would like the band Opal. During my darkest days, I listened to "Early Recordings" at least a thousand times.

i too can sympathise...but then again so can much of today's youth (whatever that says about our society). i suppose we all turn to one thing or another to make those hard days go by a little easier, a little faster, and music is definitely a good way. i like your mix, especially the vanessa carlton cover of the stones' "paint it black."
