Comment:
I was going to have the songs organized into the whole shock, pain, acceptance thing, but breakups are too fucked up to be neatly placed in little categories. I'm also too lazy to plan out the order of the songs, but that doesn't sound so artsy fartsy.
Feedback:
Verrry nice mix tape--painfully accurate, as far as raw pain is concerned. You've chosen really great songs--The Beatles, of course, the Getup Kids, weezer, Thirteenth Floor Elevator, the Velvet Underground (You wouldn't happen to own the soundtrack to "High Fidelity," would you?), etc. Even if you didn't purposely arrange the order, ending on "Butterfly" is a very nice touch. Rivers Cuomo can always be counted upon for desperate songs about pain.
Thanks for the compliment, and yes I do own the soundtrack. Nice end of school mix, by the way. The Replacements ROCK!
Thanks! And yes, the Replacements are fabulous.
