this is a mix featuring only songs with female vocalists. i like a lot of different kinds of music, but consistently prefer songs with female vocals.Feedback:
My friend, you need (NEED) to hear the Muffs and Fastbacks - hands down, my fave female-fronted rock n roll bands. Well, not counting the legendary Wanda Jackson... Love that New Pornographers song, by the way.
i love seeing mixes like this .. i'm actually compiling one of my own right now, same theme, for a mix-trading ring i pulled together for the summer, so i'll be posting one up soon. ^_^
I'm with you -- I also tend to prefer the sound of the female voice (see my International Girls mix for further proof!) Love the Sing-Sing and New Pornographers picks, although the opening song concerns me a bit. And yes, definitely check out the Muffs and Fastbacks.
