Comment:
I made this mix with a lot of wine, the Tom T Hall tune is fav here, so lovely, in the middle of the mix there is 4 songs White Stripes recorded, i think they've made good versions of the songs but the originals are much better, nobody can sing the blues like Blind Willie Mctell as Dylan say, i think they released Dolly Parton's Jolene as a b-side on an early vinyl-single, i've only heard the live version (really great), Charlatans is the San Francisco Sixties band, Willie Nelson's Yesterday's Wine is a fav album, i think it's a cool title too...hangover is my middle name today...puhFeedback:
Whoa, this looks great. I think I'd like to trade for it...
Looks really nice
fantastic stuff.
I know and like the Robert Johnson and Son House tunes. The rest looks like it'd be great as well.
Wow. this looks really great. Keep drinkin' that wine, Mike!
The Charlatans doing "Folsom Prison"...wait, maybe it's not the Charlatans UK but rather the Charlatans who made it necessary for the former to tack on the "UK" bit. Either way, it's a great mix.
A cool, crisp white for the summer...? Or are you strictly a red wine drinker..? Given the background, I understand the mix better.....good job!
Great mix!
Very nice. I think "That's How I Got to Memphis" is my favorite Tom T. Hall song.
Excellent, Mike. Really great. What would you like in trade as I need this!
Thanks for your kindly comments folks, Valis, yes i'm a strictly red wine drinker;)
Me too..., which is why I asked; this has "deep red wine" written all over it. Mmmm. Room temperature reds! (..and a mix to match!)
Valis: i watch some of your mixes and....puh.. your a man after my own heart! i think we should trade some time!
