Comment:

69.29 / Jay Farrar is one of my personal favorite songwriters. For some reason I identify with him more than almost any other. This is a mix I made to introduce a friend of mine to Jay's career. (tracks 1-5 from Uncle Tupelo - Anodyne, 6-10 from Son Volt - Trace, 11-13 from Son Volt - Wide Swing Tremolo, 14-17 from Jay Farrar - Sebastopol, 18-19 live tracks that originally appear on Uncle Tupelo - No Depression)

Good tribute to a complex figure. Saw him a few months ago. Good show, and surprisingly nice guy (I expected him to be hard to talk to, and he wasn't at all). Ah, but you're not a fan of "Still feel gone" or "March 16-20"?

Sean, the problem is that those records are out-of-print and i haven't been able to get ahold of them yet. plus i haven't been able to fork over the cash for the uncle tupelo anthology yet. damn poverty.

Sorry to hear that. I only have the vinyl or I'd dub them for ya. I do have "No Depression" and "The Long Cut (plus 5 live)", if you need those on disc.

Damn you. I'll find them one day.
