Same here. Sure, like lots of people i LOATHE the Bay City Rollers (and if this is supposed to be the WORST of the 70's, where are the Rubettes?), but i really, genuinely like the songs included here by Carl Douglas, Jigsaw, Pilot & The Starland Vocal Band. Honest.

O yeah, and that Terry Jacks-songs is THE worst EVER, also because it's a lousy version of a great Jacques Brel-song

Funny, I was never embarrassed by One Toke Over The Line...I've been addicted to Love Grows...since seeing Shallow Hal...

Hey, you never heard the German-language version of "Seasons in the Sun" (also sung, albeit rather unintelligibly, by Terry Jacks), set to a different backing track performed by semi-talented German studio musicians. Compared to that, the English "original" is a real gem . . .

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Actually, notwithstanding the title of the mix, I tried to include songs that, while frequently horrible, are still fun to hear on occasion. So nothing wrong with admitting liking some (or even a lot) of this stuff.

"Love Grows" is cool, for sure, as are the Tommy James and Paper Lace songs... and I *loved* those Neil Sedaka, Pilot and Bay City Rollers tracks when I was a kid (not that they'd be all that defensible now).

Love Rollercoaster has the best drum do-wagga start in the history of slugs.

Very cool idea. But honestly, how often are you going to listen to them? :-)

Popcorn is such a harmless song. I believe in Music, this is Out of Sight! Rock on Mr. K-Tel. Thanks for the memories.
