Comment:

Jerry Reed met the world with a face-value attitude, but his was a complex talent. His country-boy charm earned him scores of TV and film roles. As a world-class guitarist, he played with everyone from Ernest Tubb to Elvis Presley, and dueted with Chet Atkins. His biggest hits were on the novelty side, but for all his easygoing cool, he was a heart-and-soul singer and songwriter, honored by the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Association. Here's the place to experience every side of this multi-faceted artist's music, from speed-demon guitar workouts to hard-grooving country-funkfests and 18-wheeler odes, so take a ride with the Guitar Man. Warning: listening to Jerry Reed while operating an automobile may result in the need to watch out for Smokeys.
