Comment:
A girly-themed CD made from an idea Clarisa had. The cover art is based on "Columbine" by Philip Worth. (August 2001)
Feedback:
i'm dying to know where "girls" by the beastie boys is! that's a standard song for any "girl" themed mix.
oh.. lol.. and that's a great mix despite the exlusion of the forementioned song. :)
Thanks! And re. the Beastie Boys song -- you're right! Actually, that song was suggested by my friend initially, but when I put the CD together, it just didn't fit in with the others.
Maybe also consider Kings of Convenience's "Toxic Girl," Beck's "Nitemare Hippy Girl," BNL's rare live track "McDonald's Girl," Pete Yorn's "Just Another Girl," The Hives' "Find Another Girl" and The White Stripes' "You're Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl)."
I see that title and immediately think of Elvis..., he'd have fit....
what a neat shout-out to the girls...
